Doctors who have completed the five day skin cancer workshop are invited to return for the advanced three day workshop focusing on face and ear reconstruction following skin cancer excision.
The advanced weekend consentrates on difficult areas of the body: lip, ear, nose, eyelid, and cheek.
20 reconstructions are explained, demonstrated and then practised on the pig head over three days.
The next advanced weekend will be:
Geelong Friday November 16 to 18, 2012.
The program includes 6 sessions of 2 hours and 4 sessions of 1.5 hours.

For the November 2012 workshop, all the registrants will have the option of operating on an Il Duomo surgical model to do many of the procedures as well as effecting various procedures on pig's heads. At an added cost registrants may purchase an Il duomo model to work on it throughout the weekend.
An example of Il Duomo is shown below. This is an example of a defect on the nasal alar being closed with a transposition flap. We will advise the premium payment required to have your own Il Duomo model for thge weekend. If you purchase a model you have the option of taking it home once the program is complete.
